Having followed Google Maps's suggested route to find a decent coffee stop to break our three hundred mile journey north and found nothing but fields, we stumbled upon Bakers at SixtyTwo, in the village of Long Bennington in Lincolnshire.
This is a small café with a lovely community feel which offers hot drinks, cakes, sandwiches and a chat, being part of the Chatty Café scheme which encourages customers to put a sign on the table to tell others that they would be welcomed should they feel the need for a matter. Nice.
Two coffees, one black & one decaf oat milk latte, one flapjack and one lemon drizzle cake.
Would stop again, if we were passing.
