It's a sunny Sunday lunchtime in the very north of Sardinia. Following yesterday's torrential and persistent rain, this is a real treat.
Sitting in the Porto Turistico of Santa Teresa di Gallura and enjoying the sun, we feel very fortunate to have found this small harbourside restaurant.
There are no menus to be studied and so we both opted for spaghetti carbonara. It was a simple dish, as it should be, made with al dente pasta, a few pieces of cooked ham, a sprinkle of black pepper and with egg yolk mixed in at the last minute to give a richness. Molto bene, as they say around here.
